Sorry for my delay had computer issues. Well it seems i was wrong on the Winkler Flyers be damned if they did not pull it off. They wont get past the Saints this i will put money on. Swan is lasting longer than i figured as well. But Portage should put that to bed very soon.

And as i said Winnipeg and Winnipeg in AAA

As for the MMJHL playoffs pretty much what you would expect. The Twisters last night forgot to play for 10 minutes and that may have cost them the game that and a couple players taking penalties at stupid times. Anyone watch the Stonewal Charleswood game 50 penalties holly batman.

Twisters will take the next three and be done with it. ST James should take the next three and it looks the big upset will be the Knights over Vics.

Feb 28, 2007 AAA Playoffs

Hawks, Kings, Thrashers and Wild all draw first blood. Each winner last night will eventually win this round but then the cross over then happens and the Hawks and Kings will both be in for a very tough ride. I know what i said yesterday but the more i think about it and the more i analyze the sats i now believe it will be a Thrashers - Wild finale sorry Hawks fans and players some of you will probably hunt me down.

MJHL kicks off tommorrow and i still stand with Portage, Way Way, Selkirk and Saints all winning the first round.

AAA Playoffs

Well the second round starts tonight. Who will knock off the Thrashers? Will it be a Hawks - Thrashers finale.My guess is the same as i believe everyone else in Manitoba it will be the Thrashers in the end. The Hawks may have something to say about that.

I have question for you - How about all those kids from Eastman that belong to OCN now after the trade deadline in January. Will they all go?

First Post - Who will win in MJHL and MMJHL

Been going to get this blog started for months now. But i guess today is the day. NHL trade day over MJHL and SJHL playoffs start this week along with Junior B in Manitoba. I will be adding audio interviews very soon and hope to have a full internet radio show running by fall.

But first the MMJHL www.mmjhl.ca playoffs start next week and out of the eight team that make the playoffs seven could still change positions in the last week. Hawks, Twisters and Canucks look like the teams to beat but with the MM who knows The way the Stonewall Jets play the Hawks they could knock them out in seven games, I don't believe the twisters will lose the the Riels but all the other teams who knows.

Portage in six over Swan in the MJHL, Way Way over Dauphin in seven, Selkirk in five over Flyers,and finally the Saints over Blues in Seven.

Junior B - really doesn't matter to me and i don't follow it but with the Keysone cup in Selkirk this year i think i just may attend that and see how good this hockey is.

By the way all you Leaf fans your team in no better off today then they were yesterday.
